工研院研發「OLED表面電漿耦合增益技術」DML結構產生平面型電漿耦合效應(Plasmon-Coupled),能將綠光材料的發光頻譜轉換為藍光,白光OLED就能利用綠光材料來取代傳統藍光材料層,不但壽命太短的問題得以解決,甚至比傳統OLED延長達20倍之多。
